Ravi Shankar was undeniably the king of the Sitar - and believe me the Sitar is one instrument which takes a lifetime to learn how to use - and of course it is very important that the person playing a Sitar is endowed with the skills to play it - such people are prodigies - and here is a sitar recital - my friend Sanjay is a Colonel in the Indian Army and his daughter Gauri is playing the Sitar on stage here - just hear the music on full volume and she is the Sitarist in the middle ...
