SELIGENSTADT, GERMANY - ABHA DEEPAK VISIT WITH MRINAL PETRA ALBAN DANIEL

We went with Mrinal and Petra and their kids Alban and Daniel to SELIGENSTADT which is a beautiful Monastery near Frankfurt. We had great pastries at a cafe also. The most beautiful thing about that Monastery, aside from its beautiful medieval architecture, were the gardens. I am sure that the variety of plants and different variations of apples can not be found in any single garden anywhere, other then the Botanical Gardens of the Universities or the Government.
We were so happy there with the wonderful weather and the company of Petra and Alban and Daniel, that we remained smiles all the way. The Monks had cultivated an incredible assortment of rare medicinal herbs too. In a way it was like the Dream Garden that Abha carries close to her heart.!

I went to Germany in October 2009.

And I created this Video on my return :

TRIER is a City in Germany on the banks of the Moselle River.
It is the oldest City in Germany.
It happens to be also the most Catholic City in Germany.

Hence, my attempt to convey a Baroque tone combined with a Catholic 'Litanie des Saints" in the Singing.

Yes, all the Music is mine. ... the Bells, the Organ, the Violins, and the Singing Voices, including the one that aims to represent the Priest.

It is an Artist impression. So NOT the real Catholic Liturgy, obviously.

Notice the last Photo, I took it myself. Just a little shop right at the center of the City.

Perhaps even more noticeable is this CROSS, viewed from Google Earth.
It is in the direction South North, and not North South, for a reason.
It could very well have something to do with Saint Peter who was crucified ... upside down.

Dear Catherine - I have no words to express how amazingly outstanding I found this beautiful composition of yours on Trier!! It is beautiful beyond belief. I do think that you just have to come to India and visit all the cultural places here too - and create and create and create away. It is very very late here now - 2.30 AM and I have to drive 7 hours to Dehradun after just a few hours ha ha - but could not resist seeing your movie and commenting on it.
Thank you you wonderful person

It really was lovely, Catherine - the Monastry was a creation of love for nature and great dedication from the Monks thee, I think. And the buildings there come right out of a History Book!
