That must have been thrilling Catherine.And Chirac seems to have been a person with excellent taste. The Hotel de Ville has a fabulous facade and it must be amazing within I am sure. I don't know if we passed through the 4th Arrondissement - but it must have been beautiful as every place in Paris was. The next time I am going somewhere, remember to send me tips and places to visit even if they are not the great monuments - I am sure that they will be places to remember if you have suggested them.!

It reminds me of my beautiful France, especially that I once lived in that 4th arrondissement.

Jacques Chirac, who was then the "Maire de Paris", at the "Hotel de Ville", even sent me a personal note !
